The VI International Symposium on Ecologically Sound Nutrition and Fertilization Strategies for Vegetable Production (VegNutri2027) will be held in Catania (Italy) from September 21st to 24th, 2027.
The Symposium is organized by the University of Catania, the University of Salerno, the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, the Italian Society for Horticultural Science (SOI), and the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS), under the aegis of the relevant ISHS Division – Vegetables, Roots and Tubers – and the ISHS Working Group on Vegetable Nutrition and Fertilization.
The Symposium will be hosted at the facilities of the University of Catania, the oldest university in Sicily, founded in 1434. The main building is located in Piazza Università, in the heart of Catania. The University is composed of 17 departments, offering fully equipped laboratories, modern lecture halls, and extensive research facilities, making it an ideal venue for international scientific meetings.
This Symposium is an opportunity for specialists in vegetable production, nutrition, and fertilization to meet and present their research innovations, share ideas and knowledge, and discuss the current status and future perspectives of ecologically sound nutrient and fertilization strategies in vegetable production.
